انباء السودان | وجّه رئيس مجلس السيادة الفريق أول عبد الفتاح البرهان بتجهيز طائرة خاصة لنقل جثمان الراحل الدكتور محمد طاهر إيلا من القاهرة إلى مدينة بورتسودان، تمهيدًا لمواراته الثرى وسط أهله وأحبته في مسقط رأسه بشرق السودان.
وتوفي إيلا صباح اليوم الاثنين بالعاصمة المصرية القاهرة بعد معاناة مع المرض، عن عمر ناهز 74 عامًا، لتفقد البلاد برحيله إحدى الشخصيات التي تركت بصمة بارزة في مسيرة الحكم والتنمية والإدارة الحديثة في السودان.
وقد سارع عدد كبير من المسؤولين والقيادات السياسية إلى نعيه، مؤكدين أن وفاته تمثل خسارة وطنية كبيرة، لما كان يتمتع به من روح القيادة والانضباط والالتزام بالعمل العام.
الدكتور محمد طاهر إيلا وُلد عام 1951 بمدينة جبيت بولاية البحر الأحمر، وينتمي إلى قبيلة الهدندوة، إحدى القبائل البجاوية العريقة في شرق السودان. تلقى تعليمه الجامعي في جامعة الخرطوم حيث حصل على بكالوريوس في الاقتصاد، ثم نال درجة الماجستير من جامعة كارديف البريطانية، ما أهّله لقيادة ملفات اقتصادية وتنموية معقدة خلال مسيرته الحكومية.
تقلد الراحل عدداً من المناصب البارزة، من بينها والي البحر الأحمر ثم والي ولاية الجزيرة، قبل أن يُعين رئيساً لوزراء السودان في فترة شهدت تحديات سياسية واقتصادية كبيرة. وارتبط اسمه بمشروعات تنموية وخدمية مؤثرة، أبرزها تطوير البنية التحتية في بورتسودان وود مدني، وتحسين الخدمات في مجالات النقل والتعليم والصحة، ما جعله يحظى بشعبية واسعة في أوساط المواطنين.
في نعي مؤثر، قال والي الجزيرة الطاهر إبراهيم الخير إن “الراحل إيلا سيبقى في ذاكرة سكان الولاية بما أنجزه من مشروعات خدمية وتنموية جسدت روح العطاء”، مضيفًا أن أبناء الجزيرة سيظلون يذكرون جميله ما بقيت الأرض.
وشهدت مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في السودان موجة واسعة من الحزن والدعوات بالرحمة، حيث عبّر ناشطون عن تقديرهم لمسيرة الرجل الذي وصفوه بـ”الوطني المخلص”، مؤكدين أن السودان فقد اليوم أحد أبنائه الذين عملوا بإخلاص من أجل الوطن.
