من هو الفريق ركن معتصم عباس التوم؟ سيرة المفتش العام الجديد للجيش السوداني
متابعات _ أنباءالسودان _أصدر رئيس مجلس السيادة والقائد العام للقوات المسلحة السودانية، الفريق أول ركن عبد الفتاح البرهان، قراراً بتشكيل هيئة أركان جديدة للجيش شملت تعديلات واسعة في القيادات العليا، وذلك في الثامن عشر من أغسطس 2025.
وبموجب القرار، تم الإبقاء على الفريق أول ركن محمد عثمان الحسين في منصبه رئيساً لهيئة الأركان، فيما جرى تعيين عدد من النواب ورؤساء الهيئات، كان أبرزهم تكليف الفريق ركن معتصم عباس التوم أحمد بمنصب المفتش العام للقوات المسلحة، في خطوة تعكس إعادة ترتيب هياكل القيادة العسكرية.
ويُعد الفريق ركن معتصم عباس التوم من الضباط البارزين الذين جمعوا بين الخبرة الميدانية والتأهيل الأكاديمي، حيث وُلد في منطقة العالياب عام 1964، والتحق بالقوات المسلحة في يناير 1986، وتخرج ضمن الدفعة 36 في فبراير 1988.
حصل معتصم على بكالوريوس العلوم السياسية والدراسات الاستراتيجية من جامعة الزعيم الأزهري، وماجستير في الدراسات الدفاعية من بنغلاديش، إلى جانب زمالة كلية الحرب العليا السودانية وكلية الدفاع الوطني المصرية. كما نال ماجستيراً في العلوم العسكرية من كلية القيادة والأركان في السودان وبنغلاديش، وأكمل عدة دورات متقدمة في القيادة.
وتدرج التوم في مواقع عسكرية مختلفة، من بينها قيادة وحدات المشاة والاحتياط، ورئاسة فرع شؤون الضباط، وإدارة أكاديمية نميري العسكرية العليا، فضلاً عن مشاركته في عمليات عسكرية بعدة ولايات سودانية، إضافة إلى قيادته لفرقة الحزم السودانية ضمن التحالف العربي في اليمن.
كما مثل السودان في مؤتمرات وندوات عسكرية إقليمية ودولية شملت السعودية ومصر وقطر وليبيا وفيتنام، وأسهم في إعداد دراسات استراتيجية تناولت الأمن الإقليمي وتجربة الأركان المشتركة.
ويُنظر إلى التوم على أنه من أبرز القيادات التي تمتلك خبرة عملية ورؤية استراتيجية، ما يجعله رقماً مهماً في مرحلة حساسة يمر بها الجيش السوداني، وسط الحاجة إلى إعادة البناء والتحديث المؤسسي.
